I Don’t Want to Write Anymore - Anaya Castillo

Abuse of power

Closed mouth

I rebuke you

Repentance

Cold metal chairs

I’m sat at a roundtable

Forced to conversate

All I am is my brown skin

Criminal

Repulsed

Envious

Deceitful

Hands shaking, heart thumping

Picking up my pen

Ink gliding across the paper

Trying to calm down my mind

Your white tears are worth more than mine

I’m small

Shrunken

I don’t want to write anymore

And you can’t make me
