About ARCH
What is ARCH?
We are UAlbany's official online undergraduate literary magazine. We accept any type of work from undergraduate students: poetry, fiction, non-fiction, art, plays, and whatever else you can think of. If you're proud of your work, what better way to share it than have it published in our school's online magazine? Our ultimate goal is to establish a creative community at UAlbany for writers, poets, and artists alike. We're looking forward to seeing and publishing your work!

As of Fall 2024 we are hosting poetry open mics every Wednesday at 6:00 in the Cobb room in the basement of the library - starting in the coming weeks after Bookfest.
Come read your creative works and join our wonderful community. We would love to have you!
-
The most impactful way for you to contribute is to submit your work! It helps you to be a published author (for your resume)
Keep a look out for submission dates and deadlines - you can submit year round although if you do so after the deadline it will be considered for the next issue.
We accept any creative work from undergrads. Check out our submission page for more info!

At the beginning of each semester ARCH will be looking for editors, which would be an extracurricular position for undergrads. It’s a great opportunity to add something to your resume and get more involved with Albany’s creative community.

Are you an English major looking for an internship in the field? SUNY Albany offers two intern positions each semester for those interested in running ARCH, an undergrad creative magazine.
