Open Mics

An open mic is an open platform for you to share your creative efforts with a group of like-minded and passionate peers. This is a literary journal and these open mics are geared towards poetry. But all forms of writing are welcome!

At the start of the open mic, we’ll collect the names of the people who want to read, and then people go down the list until completed.

In the modern world, the balance between consumption and creation has shifted out of proportion. Simply put, we need more creative efforts! Join us in the pursuit of balance.

Our community of readers and listeners thrive on boosting each other’s creative efforts and maintaining a welcoming space for people to engage thoughtfully. We hope to see you there.

ARCH open mics will be held weekly at 6:00 on Wednesdays starting 2/12. We are located in the Cobb room, in the basement of the main library.
