TOday!!

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we are hosting “Connectando Lenguajes,” on Wednesday, October 9th at 6:00.

This event is focused on celebrating the work of Hispanic students and hispanic adjacent works of writing (poetry, prose, essays, etc.), as well as bringing together on-campus communities.

We are looking for students who are willing to read their work for our supportive group - as well as for each other.

At this open mic we will spotlight these readers and their work, as well as celebrate hispanic heritage, writing, and cultural tradition as a whole.

With this event we are aiming to bridge engaged communities on campus and celebrate individual members from those communities, as well as celebrate Hispanic Heritage as a whole

This project will culminate in a mid-semester publication of the works read at the event (and perhaps additional works).
